The CDPH HIE Gateway is Now Open for Registration!

Register now at the CDPH HIE Gateway, an online web tool that allows data submitters to:

1. Register for CDPH programs and receive all appropriate user names and passwords necessary for submitting immunization and laboratory data.
2. Submit test messages for validation. The Gateway will send you instructions after registering.
3. Complete all follow-up testing necessary to qualify for ongoing data submission to CDPH.

Registration “quick guides” have been created to assist you. To access the quick guide, click on the hyperlink for the entity below:

Individual health care provider

(e.g. physicians, podiatrist, optometrist, nurse practitioner, certified nurse-midwife, dentist, chiropractor, or physician assistant) who will register and submit data

Health care organization

(e.g. hospitals, clinics, critical access hospitals, hospital laboratories and provider groups) that will enlist a health administrator to register and submit on their behalf

Health information exchange (HIE) or health information organization (HIO)

registering and submitting on the behalf of an individual health care provider or a health organization

Electronic health record vendor

(e.g. a proxy representative for a provider or health organization) who is registering and submitting on the behalf of an individual health care provider or a health organization

Laboratory (public or private)

who will register and submit data
